Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is a gorgeous little city close to San Jose. As soon as we arrived, we rushed to the Mystery Spot, a place known for being different and for not following the gravity law. we were lucky, we were the last group to enter the place before they clsoed for the day

Santa Cruz e uma gracinha. Assim que nos chegamos, fomos logo correndo para o "lugar misterioso", conhecido por ser um lugar unico, onde as leis da gravidade nao se aplicam. Tivemos sorte, chegamos a tempo de entrar - o lugar estava quase fechando.

Essa e uma foto antiga do lugar. O "lugar misterioso" recebe visitantes desde a decada de 40. Um bom negocio, eu diria.

The house was built in a flat area, but somehow it slipped and ended up like this, right in the middle of the land, where it's believed the "force" is stronger.

A casa foi construida numa area plana, mas sem que nem por que, ela escorregou para o centro do terreno, ficando assim. Acredita-se que a parte central a terra e onde a "forca" tem maior poder.

As pessoas estao sempre meio tortas, como se elas estivessesm sendo atraidas por uma forca, que as mantem num angulo diferente do que elas estariam em outro lugar qualquer

Anita was not convinced there were any magical powers in the place and kept fighting with the guide, until he said in the two years he worked there, he never met anyone so stuborn... Oh, really?

Nesse lugar, as bolinhas rolam para cima ao inves de rolarem para baixo...

O lugar e todo feito com ilusao de optica, e vale a pena visitar.

anita nao estava acreditando na "magia" do lugar e ficou discutindo com o guia o tempo todo. No fim do programa ele disse que nunca encontrou ninguem tao teimosa.

After all the driving we needed to relax. Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was the perfect choice.

Depois de tanta estrada, todo mundo precisava de um pouco de diversao. O parque de Santa Cruz , bem no pier, foi a opcao perfeita.

It was getting cold, and we all went on the cable car to see the sunset

Anita and Lia liked it so much, we left them there and went out for dinner. They played until the park closed.

As meninas gostaram tanto do lugar que nos as deixamos la e fomos jantar. As duas ficaram no parque ate ele fechar!
