Fui me arrumar prá igreja na casa dele. Ele me dava caipirinha e falava:
A igreja lotada.
Chega a hora do meu pai me entregar pro noivo, ele exita e fala no meu ouvido - por sorte do lado do camera man, aí a gente consegue entender direitinho:
- Tem certeza? Por que ainda dá tempo de desistir...
E eu teimosa, caso assim mesmo.
Eu tinha 21 anos. O casamento durou menos de dois anos.

I'll never forget Adolfinho, who was my God father at my previous life wedding.
I went to get ready for church at his house. He gave me some strong Brazilian alcoholic cocktail and said::
- If you don't want to get married, you don't need to get married! I go there (the church) with your father , we send everyone home ... or tell them to go enjoy the party ... there is no problem ....
- Adolfinho I WANT to get married!
so he gave me more alcohol, hoping I would change his mind.
years later, watching video tape (yes, VIDEO) :
My father walks me down the isle. The church is packed full. We had about 300 guests, mostly from my family or my family friends.
When it was time for my father to hand me to my future husband, he hesitates and says in my ear :
- Are you sure? There is still time to change your mind ...
And I stubbornly got married anyway.
I was 21 . That marriage lasted less than two years.
