This pic I took from mochileiros.com - and this is one of the ways to Machu Pichu. Millions of people have done this walk, I am sure all of them found it difficult, some could not finish it, many others simply gave up.
Only the ones who perseveared, got to experience the achievement of "getting there".

CORA
Ela tinha varias opcoes.
****************************
I was lucky enough to get to know Cora, an amazing person, through the blog world. Initially we exchanged messages, we communicated from blog to blog, we followed each other's adventures via our blog spaces. Somehow I felt close to her, we connected.
Suddenly this girl who is full of life and energy, who always have a friendly word to give to other people, found out she had a terrible disease.
Leprosy. That's right, she is only 30 years old, she has never been sick before, and out of the blue she was diagnosed with this horrible disease that terrorized the world for centuries.I've never met someone with leprosy before - you probably haven't either. I know Cora did not.And in a forener country - like so many of us, she is also a Brazilian living abroad - Cora saw Herself having to batle this terrible disease, while not even the doctors knew what to do to help her.
She had several options. She could hide under the bed, she could give in, she could decide to feel sorry for herself, or deny her own luck. The other alternative was to do what she did - fight as hard as she could to continue living her life normally, while enduring a battle against Leprosy.
Don't panic, although rare and very serious, leprosy is curable. And not highly contagious as many of us was made believe.Cora is going through a process of transformation. She is growing, maturing and reinventing herself.
The only thing we can all do is hold her hand and be alongside her, holding her hand when she needs it.
Her blog is in Portuguese, but I totally recommend you read it. She will take you on an amazing jorney through courage, faith and love.
